This was great! I once nannied for a family who used a travel crib and slumber pod 100% of the time (for their second child, lesson learned) because they traveled so often and they wanted to give her the best chance at adjusting. Kind of genius!
One thing we did for those early-toddler years was bring her blanket directly from bed at home so that the hotel bed felt more and even smelled more like her bed. Now that she’s 4.5 we just did a trip where we skipped the home blanket and she was totally fine!
That is a great idea! It's funny, I feel like I have this whole set of travel things (blanket included) and maybe I've been overthinking it. Will try it this weekend! (And good to know there's a finish line)
